International Women's Day Lunch 2023
Event description
International Women’s Day 2023 #EmbraceEquityÂ
Guests: Paul Callaghan, Anne Goslett, Delta Kay
#EmbraceEquity is the theme for IWD 2023, it is also the core of The SHIFT Project's mission. By fostering emotional and physical wellbeing we empower our women to regain their lives, reconnect with community and achieve their full potential. Being included and belonging, feels good.
Equity means creating a fair and equal world.
When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity and inclusion. We forge harmony and unity which help drive success for all.
Equality is the goal and equity is the means to get there. Through equity, we can reach equality.
This event is our annual fundraiser for The SHIFT Project and is the cornerstone to our continued success in helping women transition from welfare to well-being. SHIFT’s program fulfils a crucial unmet need for women experiencing homelessness, recognising that employment and financial wellbeing are critical to moving permanently out of disadvantage and connecting back into community.
Tables seat 10 people - you can purchase a whole table or individual tickets. If you are in a group less than 10 you’ll be sharing a table and making new friends on the day.
We look forward to celebrating IWD 2023 with you on 10th March.
