Join flautist Shion Liu for a special evening of music celebrating her 40th birthday — a personal milestone reflected through a program that traces her musical journey.

Set within the intimate acoustic of Village Church Annandale, this recital brings together a rich and expressive selection of works, from the colour and lyricism of French repertoire to the rhythmic vitality of Astor Piazzolla. The evening culminates in a virtuosic Carmen Fantasy, bringing brilliance and flair to the celebration.

Shion is joined by pianist Szuyu Chen, a long-time collaborator and friend. Their musical partnership brings depth, trust, and sensitivity to the stage.
