Rocky Ridge & BEERtasters present "SHOEGAZE & SOURS"...

This is going to be HUGE folks! Music & Beer - BEERtasters experimented with that dynamic duo with "Krautrock-toberfest" in October 2020, but this event will well-and-truly take things to the next level. Rocky Ridge's sales legend Ricky Watt and yours truly are both big fans of the musical genre known as SHOEGAZE, so, when he suggested that we combine those dreamy, distorted sounds with a handpicked selection of Sour beers, my response was immediate - 'Hell YES!'

Discovering that Rocky Ridge had two very special new Sours in barrels made this proposal even more attractive, but a tasting would have to wait until the beers were deemed 'ready'. Now that they are, Ricky has also taken a closer look at the brewery's cellared treasure trove of previous sour releases - giving us the opportunity to taste how these mixed culture brews have continued to develop, mature and evolve in the bottle. Sound good?

Join us on February 10, as we showcase five Rocky Ridge sours - including two brand-spankers - and add a couple of personal fave's to the line-up. The Dutch Trading Co kitchen will provide three courses of expertly matched food to accompany three of these beers, and Ricky and yours truly's tunes will be flowing freely throughout the night...
