Lineup

Beau Walker Tyrrell - The Stress Fracture Physio
Beau's work in bone stress injuries is industry leading. His experience and exposure to the most unique of cases leads to presentations that ups any listeners diagnostic game for BSI's. From prevention, to detection & management - you'll be coming away from this talk with more insights than you know what to do with.

Mick 'Chappo' Chapman - Chappo Health & Nutrition
Chappo is a Registered Public Health Nutritionist with an undergrad in Nutrition and a Masters in Public Health, working in health and fitness since 2012 across public health research, statewide programs and not-for-profits to name just a few bits of his work. His approach is simple: stick to solid, evidence-based nutrition fundamentals. That's made him a trusted voice in the running world. He's a go-to nutrition expert for the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASIC, has appeared twice on the Running Matters podcast talking race fuelling, and hosted a nutrition information night for Ultra-Trail Australia. He also runs regular nutrition seminars for community, corporate and gym groups. As an Australian representative in touch football and triathlon, and having two continents' worth of cycling under his belt, Chappo knows his stuff. And he's bringing that good practical, evidence-based stuff to our professionals night - so get ready to upskill whether you like it or not.

Hanah Mills - Sports Dietitian
Hanah Mills is an Accredited Practicing and Sports Dietitian (APD, ASD), specialising in nutrition for runners and hybrid athletes. She's competed at a high level herself across CrossFit, powerlifting and running, so she brings real athlete experience alongside the evidence-based science. no fads, no extremes, just what actually moves the needle on performance, energy availability and recovery. Hanah's been a guest on The Stronger Stride Podcast and The Science of Fitness Podcast talking carbs, electrolytes and fuelling for endurance athletes, and runs both 1:1 consults and workshops. She's a friend of the event and got a ripper reception at last years main event, so get ready to be energised no matter the hour.

Freya Bronwin - Reframe Sessions
Freya Bronwin is a qualified Systemic Psychotherapist (AAFT) and founder of Reframe Sessions, working with everyday athletes, teens, families, and teams through injury and change. Her approach is shaped by systemic and narrative therapy. She will be helping us look at problems in the context of the bigger picture of someone's life, not in isolation and builds our attendees skills in empathy for the injured athlete. She's especially switched on to the non-physical side of injury: the identity hit, the mental strength required, and the way support (or lack of it) shapes recovery. As a runner and ex competitive rower, she's lived it herself. Freya's spoken on The Stronger Stride Podcast about navigating the emotional side of injury, and regularly runs workshops and talks for clubs and physio practices on the psychology of injury and performance. She also spent time as a Strategist at Google, so her group sessions are as sharp as they are supportive. We're super excited to bring her thought provoking approach to the event and it's a session you do not want to miss.

Steph Kreskas - Endorsed Running Podiatrist and DCP Approved Shoe Nerd
Steph Kreskas is an Endorsed Sports Podiatrist at ProFeet Podiatry. Her clinical focus is on runners and athletes - particularly plantar fasciopathy, Achilles and ankle pain, injury rehab and of course, prevention. Steph will be bringing progressive Podiatry to the night, talking on modern orthotic ideas, plantar fasciopathy pearls and much much more. Steph also brings an exceptional amount of footwear knowledge to the event. She has worked closely with huge footwear brands and teaching on how we can utilise modern footwear as a treatment modality for lower limb injuries. For a girl who fixes feet, she's pretty damn handy to have on this team of exceptional experts.
