Shop Bao Ngoc x Pandan Dreaming Supper Club

Gather together around a shared 12 seat dinner table with us for our first ever Supper Club with Shop Bao Ngoc and Pandan Dreaming. 

Join us on a five course journey of playful dishes and stories inspired by our Vietnamese lineages, including some ingredients and flavour inspirations Ngoc has brought back after her recent trip to her hometown in Hà Tĩnh.     

We can’t wait to cook for you and welcome you to a cute and wholesome evening of nourishing food and connection around the dinner table with us. 

♡ The Menu ♡ 

• Nem Rán Hà Tĩnh - Chicken spring rolls with lettuce, vietnamese mint and nước mắm

• Gỏi Cá Nước Dừa - Tuna ceviche with coconut sauce and lime leaf on rice crackers

• Nem Lụi Huế - Char grilled lemongrass pork skewers with betel leaf and nam jim jaew

• Bánh Canh Cua - Queensland mud crab tapioca noodle soup with pork balls, dill fish cake and quail eggs   

• Bánh Bò Nướng - Honeycomb cake with candied orange 

Unfortunately due to the intimate nature of this supper club, no dieteries can be catered for. Tea will be provided. BYO drinks.

♡ Your Supper Club Hosts ♡ 

Ngọc Trần (she/her) is a second generation Vietnamese chef cooking on Wurundjeri country. Inspired by the accumulated knowledge of her kin, cooking allows her to connect with both lineage and community. Currently, she is learning how to rest and set boundaries in an industry that often prioritizes grind culture. 

Hiếu Phùng (he/him) is that shop kid who you sometimes see napping, eating leftover food and slinging desserts at Shop Bao Ngoc. He is a healing-centred facilitator and writer who loves to daydream of playful futures. He started Pandan Dreaming as a living archive to re/member and embody ancestral practices of collective healing together.

Please note, this Supper Club has a limited capacity of 12 people to ensure an intimate atmosphere.
