Shop for Success: A Mother’s Day Special Event – Pre-Loved Fashion with Purpose

This Mother’s Day, treat yourself or someone special while supporting a great cause. Shop with purpose at Dress for Success, where every purchase helps empower women in our community.

We’ve heard your requests and are excited to offer more opportunities throughout the year to browse our collection of beautiful, pre-loved fashion and accessories.

Join us Friday 9 May 2025 at our Hobart CBD boutique for a stylish day out. Discover new and pre-loved clothing, jewellery, and accessories – with sizes and styles to suit everyone.

To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience, time slots are scheduled, and shopper numbers are limited.

✨ Free Daytime Shopping

11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Admission is free, but registration is essential to secure your spot.

🍷 Evening Sip & Shop

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Admission is $20 and includes a glass of wine on arrival, one on one styling advice from our stylist team, lucky door prizes, and first pick from freshly restocked clothing racks.

While this event is themed around Mother’s Day, it is not exclusive to mothers. We warmly welcome everyone – friends, family, supporters, and fashion lovers of all genders and backgrounds. At Dress for Success Tasmania, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Come as you are and join us in celebrating community, style, and purpose.

You may have donated garments, shoes and accessories to Dress for Success in the past and we thank you so much - please continue to donate! Items in Shop for Success are surplus to our Boutique needs right now and sales from this event will raise much needed funds which allow us to continue to deliver transformational services which really do change the lives of Tasmanian women.

Please note:

• This will be a CASHLESS event, with tap and go payment available.
• Bags will be on sale at the event for $2, but feel free to BYO bags.
• If you do not wish to be photographed, please advise at the event.

About Dress for Success

Dress for Success Tasmania is part of a global movement of change, empowering women to obtain economic independence by providing them with work-appropriate attire, job support mentoring, access to career development workshops and a supportive network to enable them to move forward and achieve self-sufficiency through gainful employment.

Clothing sales will help us build financial sustainability to ensure we are able to continue to deliver programs to women across Tasmania. All proceeds raised on the evening will go directly into our programs, supporting women to access vital services that allow them to re–enter the workforce feeling confident and well equipped.
