Short, Small, Sweet returns to All Saints South Hobart in June 2026! 

The SMC Chamber Music Series 'Short, Small, Sweet' provides brief but exciting afternoon concerts featuring smaller groups formed from the UTAS Conservatorium of Music and the Secret Orchestral Society. This concert will primarily feature string ensembles, including several contemporary works and a number of local composers. 

Each $5 ticket will go towards supporting the series and Student Music Collective's larger endeavours, thanks to the generosity of All Saints South Hobart for allowing us to use their unique space for our performance. UTAS students receive free admission!

Come and support Hobart's up-and-coming musicians in this relaxed and inviting setting! 

This event takes place on the unceded lands of the Muwinina people in nipaluna/Hobart. The Secret Orchestral Society and the Student Music Collective stands for a history of truth, which acknowledges the ongoing impacts of colonisation upon the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

ACCESSIBILITY

At All Saints South Hobart, there is level access via the main entrance to the church. There is wheelchair accessible parking in the Southern Cross Care car park (next door to the venue), which an accessible bathroom in the Hawker Centre/Administration building.
