Shotgun! Mod Night is back, in a fantastic new venue! Join us in the Verandah Bar, upstairs at the iconic Lord Alfred on the corner of Petrie Terrace and Caxton Street, Brisbane. DJs will be playing the very best in 60s Mod, Soul, R&B, Garage, Jazz, Freakbeat and Latin only on vinyl, from 6pm to midnight.
Dress sharp, meet friends, drink, eat and dance in the most welcoming atmosphere in the city.

- Where is the event venue?
The Verandah Bar is upstairs at the LA. Access via the exclusive entrance on Petrie Terrace, directly opposite the Victoria Barracks gate.
- Is there a dress code?
We like to dress smart and vintage, but it's not compulsory. All we ask is for no jeans or trainers. Also, it isn't a 60s fancy dress party, so don't get your outfit at Spotlight.
- Can I buy food there?
Yes, the LA does great food, and the verandah is a lovely place to sit and eat with views over Caxton Street to Lang Park Stadium.
- What are the timings?
We'll be starting earlier than usual, at 6pm, and play until midnight (or the last dancers have had it!) As it's a ticketed event it won't get overcrowded, but seating will be limited so don't leave it too late to arrive.
- Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there's a huge underground car park at The Barracks, right opposite the venue.
- How often is Shotgun?
