Led by Chochmat HaLev’s Rabbi Zvika Krieger and Musical Director Lior Tsarfaty with special guest Norman Fischer, renowned poet, author, Zen Buddhist teacher and priest, and former abbot for the San Francisco Zen Center.

Join us for a day of Jewish and Buddhist wisdom teachings, meditation, song and chant, group study, and more. Participants of all backgrounds are warmly welcome, including those new to meditation or spiritual practice.

On this retreat, we’ll be exploring the invitation from this season’s Torah reading to uplift the wisdom of our hearts – “נָשָׂא לִבָּן אֹתָנָה בְּחׇכְמָה”. We’ll practice how to tap into our own heart wisdom, particularly amidst the forces in our world that are aiming to keep us disconnected and shut down.

“The Timeless Mystery places wisdom and discernment in every wise-hearted person to know how to do all the sacred work.”

"וְכׇל־אִישׁ חֲכַם־לֵב אֲשֶׁר נָתַן יְהוָה חָכְמָה וּתְבוּנָה בָּהֵמָּה לָדַעַת לַעֲשֹׂת אֶת־כׇּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדַת הַקֹּדֶשׁ"
