Show Up Together: LCC x Rose Haven

Community care is a queer tradition, and this December we’re putting it into practice.

Join LCC for an afternoon volunteering at Rose Haven, a day shelter and community center in Portland serving women, children, and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness and poverty. Rose Haven is a low-barrier space offering meals, showers, clothing, resources, and something just as essential: a place to be seen and supported.

What to expect
We’ll start with a tour of the shelter and an introduction to Rose Haven’s work from their team. Then we’ll spend the rest of the shift working alongside staff wherever help is needed most. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself and an open heart.
