This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

How can researchers better address the challenges that are most important to the health system?

And what is required for our health services to more fully embrace the innovations which result from health and medical research?

Join Sydney Health Partners for our Annual Forum 2023, where we will consider the benefits of more closely aligning the Partnership’s extraordinary research capabilities with the current and future needs of our health services.

Building on national and state priorities for health and medical research, this year’s Annual Forum features a stellar line-up of clinician-researchers and health service leaders, including:

• Professor Steve Wesselingh – President, Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (via video)

• Dr Jean-Frédéric Levesque - Deputy Secretary, Clinical Innovation and Research Division, NSW Ministry of Health

• Dr Teresa Anderson AM – Chief Executive, Sydney Local Health District

• Professor Bruce Robinson AC – Chair of Research, Northern Sydney Local Health District

The forum will also reflect on Sydney Health Partners’ activities of the past 12 months and celebrate the achievements of emerging clinician-researchers with the presentation of our Annual Early Career Research Awards.

Sydney Health Partners Annual Forum 2023 will be held on Wednesday 19 July, between 1-5pm at the University of Sydney’s Susan Wakil Health Building and will be followed by an informal networking function.

Register now to be there.
