Dive deeper into the Shrine by joining a 45-minute tour led by an expert guide. You'll discover the fascinating history of this monument, born out of grief after the First World War. It now serves as a place of remembrance for Australian service and sacrifice in all wars since. Learn about our commemorative spaces, special exhibitions, and the personal stories that make the Shrine a living monument.
⏰ When: Saturday April 6th, 11.00am - 1.00pm. 45 minute tour followed by lunch (provided by Buddy Up Australia) at a nearby cafe
📍Where: Shrine of Remembrance (exact meeting point to be advised) located on Birdwood Avenue and St Kilda Road, 1.3km from Flinders Street Railway Station. You can walk or catch a tram from the city. Take any southbound tram from Federation Square (except route number 1) to stop 19 Shrine of Remembrance.
