SHUT UP AND LISTEN: GEELONG HOT CHICKEN PROJECT

We are taking Shut Up and Listen into central Geelong for a strictly limited, one-off pop-up at The Hot Chicken Project on Little Malop Street.

You know the experience when you visit a gallery and sit with one piece of art for a while? How you often see something new in the work, or sometimes see something else in yourself? That is the aim of Shut Up and Listen Club: to act as a communal bench where we can sit in front of a work of art and listen to it together.

For this session, we are stripping back the room and dropping the needle in one of Geelong's favourite dining spaces. The house rules remain non-negotiable: an intimate room, a dedicated sound system, and a turntable. No phones, no talking, no distractions. One secret album played front-to-back on vinyl, built for deep collective immersion.

EVENING FLOW

• 17.30 Doors Open (Chicken, sides, and drinks flowing)

• 19.30 Aux Talk (Service pauses, lights go down)

• 20.20 Intermission (Drinks break for 10 minutes)

CAPACITY AND TICKETING The Hot Chicken Project is an intimate space and tickets are capped strictly to room capacity. Tickets are mandatory to secure a seat. Once capacity is reached, doors close.
