Shuvah Fest: A Hashy Reboot
Description
Hashy is coming home — and you’re invited.
For the first time in more than a decade, leaders from Hashomer Hatzair Olami (World Hashy) are coming to Melbourne. We’re marking the occasion the best way we know how: by bringing the community together for Shuvah Fest: A Hashy Reboot.
Whether you grew up at Hashy, went on camp or shnat, found your kvutzah here, have kids you’d love to introduce to Hashy, or simply want to reconnect with this community — come and be part of what happens next.

Hashy had a break. The break is over.
At our 2023 reunion, we announced that Hashy was taking a break. Now we’re working to rebuild our beloved youth movement so that a new generation can experience what so many of us were lucky enough to have: progressive Zionist and secular Jewish education, camp, community and — perhaps most importantly — kvutzah.
If you know the value of kvutzah in your bones, you know why this matters.
At the same time, Beit Tarbut is growing as our life movement, creating events, activities and community for people of all ages. Together, we’re exploring what Hashomer Hatzair can look like not only as a youth movement, but as a lifelong community.
This is a chance to reconnect with the Hashy you remember — and help shape the Hashy that comes next.
Your community is here. Come help it grow.
