However, in Australia we only have one pharmacological drug to manage this condition. Join Australia Sickle Cell Advocacy Inc (ASCA) for a round table discussion between advocates, policymakers, healthcare providers, and the pharmaceutical industry to brainstorm ways Australia can expand the awareness and management of this condition. Our main aims and objectives for this event include
- Identify key gaps in current SCD services and treatments
- Develop collaborative solutions to address these challenges
- Explore opportunities for policy and funding to improve patient outcomes
