ABOUT THE EVNET:
Wise Studio builds brands and produces signage and wayfinding products for their clients. The Wise Studio team is made up of planners, designers, and manufacturers. Our contact Michelle is particularly passionate about sign painting which has become popular across Europe and the US as a more sustainable and durable way of physically marking Buildings. With their own in-house workshop, NAWIC has been offered a unique chance to see the inner workings of a signage company and a chance to take your own custom sign home.
On the day: Wise Studios are going to give us a brief history of sign painting and explore innovative ways to incorporate it into contemporary settings, steering away from conventional approaches. We’ll discuss the sustainability aspect of sign painting, highlighting some of its eco-friendly advantages. Following the discussion, Wise Studios are going provide an opportunity for hands-on experience, where you can try your hand at sign painting. With quick-drying paints, you'll all be able to take your completed sign boards home as a keepsake.
