Signal or Noise? A workshop to develop your product idea in the age of AI
Description
You keep coming back to this idea. A problem you know well. A market that feels ready. A nagging sense that someone should do something about it — and maybe that someone is you.
Or maybe you do not have an idea yet. Just a curiosity about what AI makes possible and where you might fit in.
Either way, this session is for you.

7:00pm - Workshop finishes
Signal or Noise? is a 90-minute idea development workshop for anyone sitting on a hunch, a mission, or a problem they keep coming back to. You do not need a formed concept or a technical background. Just bring something you are curious about — we will help you work out what it could become.
During the session we will do three things.
Find the signal. Most people are sitting on more insight than they realise. We will help you articulate what you actually know — about the problem, the people who have it, and why existing solutions fall short. That clarity is the difference between an idea and an opportunity.
See what AI makes possible. This is where things get exciting. AI does not just make products smarter — it changes what is economically viable, what a small team can deliver, and what a product can do over time. We will map what it unlocks specifically for your idea.
Get an honest read. By the end of the session you will know whether there is something real here — and what it would take to find out for certain.
If you come without an idea, no problem. We have a set of real-world problems you can work through to learn the skills.
Come with an idea. Leave knowing if it is the signal to get started.
DoLabs is brought to you by Do AI and KISSLabs.

FAQs
- Is this workshop right for me?
If you are curious about AI and have a problem, a mission, or an idea you want to explore — yes. You do not need a business plan, a technical background, or even a fully formed concept. This session is for anyone who wants to understand what AI makes possible and whether there is something worth building in what they are working on.
- How formed does my idea need to be — and what kind of ideas are a good fit?
You do not need an idea at all. You might come with a mission — a problem space you care deeply about, an industry you know from the inside, or a change you want to see in the world. That is a perfectly valid starting point.
If you are coming purely to learn the skills and see how the framework works, we have a set of pre-built problems you can work through. Same session, same tools — just with a problem we provide rather than one you bring.
Part of what this session does is help you find the shape of an idea within whatever context you arrive with — and see where AI makes something possible that was not before.
- Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. This session is designed to be accessible regardless of technical background. We will show you what AI makes possible for your idea without assuming any prior knowledge.
One of the things we do at Do AI is help non-technical founders understand what they can direct and commission — and what to look for in a technical partner. That is part of what this session covers.
- What should I bring?
Whatever you have got. An idea, a problem space, a mission, or just curiosity about where AI is taking things. A notebook or laptop if you like to think by writing. Nothing else is required — no preparation, no homework, no slides to review beforehand.
- What actually happens in the session?
It is a working session, not a lecture. You will spend most of the 90 minutes doing real work with others and yourself, mapping what AI makes possible, and getting an honest read on whether there is something worth backing. There will be time to share with the room if you want to, but nothing is compulsory. Do AI and KISSLabs facilitate throughout.
- Is it free?

- Is there networking after?
