Event description

Silent Mind Gatherings is a transformative five-week program tailored for individuals seeking to explore the immense potential of their breath and delve into various breathing techniques (pranayama/breathwork). The program also emphasises learning meditation, enhancing mental, physical, and emotional well-being, and fostering connections with like-minded and inquisitive individuals in the Canberra/Kamberri community.

The program is scheduled to commence on 12 October 2023, with weekly sessions held every Thursday evening from 6:15pm to 7:30pm at the Canberra Breath Collective (Griffith Shops). Each session will introduce new breathing techniques aimed at promoting awareness, relieving tension and stress, and quietening the mind. Participants will have opportunities to connect with one another and learn holistic mind-body practices. The program's schedule and weekly themes are as follows:

  • 12 October 2023: Exploring the basics of conscious breathing
  • 19 October 2023: Igniting your inner fire through breathwork
  • 26 October 2023: Embodying the power of your breath
  • 2 November 2023: Unveiling visionary experiences of inner knowing
  • 9 November 2023: A deep dive into the breath

Why should you join?

Starting a meditation practice can be challenging for many due to the demands of our busy lives, time constraints, and daily stressors. This program offers dedicated support to overcome these obstacles and prioritise the body's sensations over the mind's chatter. By becoming more attuned to the body and experiencing the benefits of conscious breathing and breathwork practices, participants can establish a sustainable meditation routine.

What is the commitment?

The program spans five weeks, with each session lasting 75 minutes. The sessions encompass well-being check-ins, embodiment practices like bioenergetics and movement, pranayama/breathing exercises, guided meditation, and educational material to deepen the understanding of the practices.

The exchange:

The program's cost is $230, with an early bird rate of $195 for those who register in advance. Additionally, a limited number of sponsored spots are available to support inclusivity.

Come and embark on a journey of self-discovery, inner peace, and personal growth through the power of breath. Join Silent Mind Gatherings and connect with a community of individuals on a similar quest to explore the vast potential within themselves.
