Silver Clay or Precious metal clay is an organic clay with suspended silver metal particles, that can be formed into shapes, then torch fired ( no kiln required) to make solid silver jewellery. Kelly from Shiner Creative Workshops is holding beginner Silver Clay workshops in Coburg. Learn how to get started creating your own fine silver jewellery. In this 2 hour workshop you will make a solid fine silver heart pendant. From shaping the clay, drying, torch firing and polishing your piece, you'll leave with a heart pendant and enough skills to make your own silver pieces at home. And you don't need any fancy equipment or a kiln! (Yep, the fine silver is torch fired with a creme brûlée torch so anyone can do it.)
The heart pendant is the perfect size and shape for beginners. Once you have a little experience with Silver Clay, you can go on to make all sorts of beautiful pieves.
Shiner is also offing 3 hour Ring making workshops.
