Want to feel more confident using your phone or iPad? Come along to Silver Surfers, a relaxed and friendly technology session where you can learn at your own pace — with a little help from some tech-savvy teenagers!

As part of Get Online Week, these free sessions bring community members together for casual, one-on-one support with everyday technology. Our friendly teenage volunteers have been trained to provide simple, easy-to-follow guidance without the technical jargon.

What can you learn?

Bring along your own phone or iPad and get help with things like:

Understanding and using your phone or iPad
Learning helpful tips and tricks
Getting more comfortable with everyday technology
Exploring features and settings
Asking those technology questions you've always wanted to ask!

Silver Surfers isn't just about technology — it's also about connection and community.

We'll all sit together in a relaxed room, with teenagers sharing their knowledge and community members learning from one another. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, have a chat and meet others while building your confidence with technology.

There are no silly questions and no previous experience is needed. Whether you're just getting started or simply want to learn a few new tricks, you're welcome to join us.
