Simchat Torah: Remixed

Join us for Simchat Torah, the Jewish season finale and season premiere in one night! We finish reading the last lines of the Torah and immediately roll back to “In the beginning” — traveling the spiral of Jewish time together.

We’ll start the night with an early kids program (5:45pm) with our Latin-Jewish friends from Olamim and their new illustrated Torah from Venice with Spanish and Hebrew text!

We’ll then move into a soulful Maariv prayer service led by Rabbi Rishe Groner and Kohenet Elana Brody.

The night culminates with Traditional Hakafot dancing + a wild mystical dance party with special guest DJ Yosef Rosen (perhaps the only DJ that also has a PhD in Kabbalah).

Schedule:

5:45pm-6:30pm: Family program with Olamim and intergenerational Torah viewing, followed by pizza party for the kids

6pm: Doors open for adults, nosh available

6:30pm: Maariv service with Rabbi Rishe and Kohenet Elana Brody

7pm: Hakafot Dance party Dj Bambi Yosef

9pm: Torah Ritual

10pm: Closing song
