You’re warmly invited to join us for Sinensis & Smoke: An intimate gathering where tea and fragrance meet in quiet ritual. A half-day exploration set aside for slowing down, working with our hands, and returning to the senses.

We begin sharing Tea in quietude - creating space within, inviting a deeper connection to self - a softening into presence. We awaken our senses to what we want to bring forth and create into existence.

We then engage in the tactile process of incense making - Guided by incense artisan Kristen Budd of Calma Places, you will work with a curated selection of aromatic woods, resins and botanicals, learning how each material carries scent and how they combine to shape atmosphere.

You will meet the raw materials first, grinding and preparing them by hand, before blending your own incense to an intention of your choosing, then shaping and finishing it using traditional methods.

All materials are provided, and you will leave with your own handmade incense and a deeper feel for the plants it came from.

No experience needed. Just bring yourself, an open heart, mind and spirit.
