Singin in the Pain: FLARE

This event has passed Get Tickets

Event description

From the creator of multi-award winning Singin in the Pain, FLARE is a new variety open mic night for disabled and chronically ill artists across any and all disciplines. FLARE is a prompt to create and express for the sake of it, an open platform for our rich disabled arts community held at the access-focused My Lover Cindi.

Eight variety open mic performances by local disabled & chronically ill artists and one incredible headliner, all brought together by the creator of the multi-award winning disability cabaret Singin' in the Pain.

Drag, burlesque, slam poetry, and original cabaret songs are all possible symptoms of this unstoppable FLARE-up. The recommended treatment? Ride it out. This is one FLARE you won't ever want to end.

December headliner: Annie Schofield (variety producer, comedian, community mentor, NOT a cult leader)

STRICTLY 18+

This even is held at access-focused, sober-friendly queer community hub My Lover Cindi. See their access guide here.
