Description

The Hot Gospel Groove choir and the Terribly Loud Choir combine to present an afternoon of uplifting songs in aid of Circle Of Friends, Willunga. Special guests will include seasoned performers, Kylie Kain, Jane Tassie and Margie
Russell.

Founded 25 years ago by Briar Eyers, Hot Gospel Groove are the combined North Adelaide and Willunga community choirs run by Quentin Eyers, singing gospel and secular songs with that gospel groove. All are welcome to join.

The Terribly Loud Choir are a contemporary acapella group singing together in Willunga since the beginning of 2021 with Ang Sharp

Bar facilities and tea, coffee and cakes will be available, courtesy of the Mt Compass Memorial Hall committee.

All proceeds will go to Circle Of Friends, Willunga branch to continue their excellent work in welcoming refugees.

Circle of Friends Australia consists of local community groups which support refugees and asylum seekers living in the community, or visit those in detention. Members of each Circle are volunteers who come from a wide range of backgrounds but share a common commitment to welcoming and assisting new arrivals with the difficult process of establishing themselves in a new country, or with the challenges of detention.

Irrespective of varying political views, we believe Australians are welcoming, generous and compassionate people, and we try to demonstrate these Australian values towards our newest arrivals.
