A guided journey for opening and activating your voice and generating and exploring group harmony.

With these group sessions there is an opportunity to expand a sense that we are all helping each other open our voices as we each traverse the journey of opening our own.  Listening and sensitivity is a key factor in this, and listening helps us come into harmony.

The journey commonly begins with practices to ease into where where we’re all at, held in easy rhythmical and breathing frameworks, allowing intuition and feeling to guide the way. Peter will offer melodic streams for us to hone in on, also showing how they can be harmonised on.  This sets up of the form of song baskets that give people the freedom to drop deeply into their part in the weave of voices or to intuit new branches of rhythm or melody that sprout from their inner sense of the sound and music. Although there'll be times when processing with the mind is necessary for setting up the music and a song, a significant intention for these journeys is to find states where our minds are out of the way and we are absorbed in the co-generation and experience of the sound.

An accompanying intention is for us to hold a space that welcomes and helps dissipate any trepidation to do with opening the voice.  In other words, come with your shyness.  Come with your boldness too, for that matter.  We shall work with what comes easily and naturally, all together, at once, a space for peace and exaltation generated through freedom within the naturally found harmony of voices.
