Singing Stones featuring Jacqui O’Reilly

For our sixth episode of Singing Stones, we invite Jacqui O’Reilly, an artist and musician from Aotearoa New Zealand, based on Gadigal Land. Her practice explores sensory perception and site-specific performance to build ephemeral and intimate ambient music. Using voice, repetition, layering and the processing of electroacoustic sounds, her performances drift and lull, inviting deep listening and altered perceptions of space, time and the merging between inner and outer worlds.
For Singing Stones, Jacqui presents a durational perform

ance within an immersive environment of sound, light and shadow. The work unfolds slowly as a drifting memoryscape, inviting the audience to settle into the space and experience shifting relationships between what is seen, heard and felt.

Getting to The PBC! Access to the club and main stage is via 12 stairs at the front of the venue. We are not wheelchair accessible currently but we are working on it! There is free, untimed parking on the avenue and Brighton Street and drop off/pick up is available via our driveway.

Access to the green room / downstairs stage is via 15 stairs down onto the ground level. If you have special access needs please email or call us ahead of time and we will do our best to plan with you and help you into the club.
