Through soulful folk music, prayerful song, and the shared resonance of our voices, Bonnie and Hanna offer an evening devoted to connection, remembrance, and the threads that weave us back into relationship with one another and the living world.

About Bonnie Medicine

Bonnie Medicine is the musical expression of Mairead, a singer, song weaver, and medicine musician from the “Bonnie” isles of Scotland. Her songs and prayers are inspired by her deep Celtic roots and connection to story and place. She weaves these ancestral threads with the songs of the plants, the rhythms of the Earth, and the drumbeat of the heart, drawing inspiration from the many lands she has traveled through and learned from over the years.

Walking a path as a medicine woman, bard, artist, and priestess, Mairead’s work extends beyond music into ceremony and co-creation with plant and animal teachers. Her passion for social justice and collective healing has deeply guided her songwriting and her mission to bring people together through song. Through her music, Bonnie Medicine invites listeners into a deeper remembrance of freedom, unity, and truth, offering prayer and connective medicine in service to greater harmony between people, community, land, and the living world.

About Hanna Leigh

Hanna Leigh is a musician, voice doula, weaver, and founderess of Weaving Remembrance, an organization devoted to helping people rekindle relationships with Earth and ancestral wisdom. Through community singing circles, weaving workshops, international pilgrimages, and retreats, Hanna walks a path of devotion to remembering our belonging to the living Earth, to one another, and to the hands and voices that have carried us here.

Her own ancestral roots extend through Scotland, England, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands, and her journey has taken her from California to Oregon, Maui, and most recently the British Isles, where she has been on an extended ancestral pilgrimage connecting with the lands and traditions of her lineage. For Hanna, singing is a practice of listening, embodiment, and healing. Her original music gives voice to the beauty and complexity of being human while honoring the living world and the possibility of repair and remembrance. Her growing catalog of original music expands this autumn with the release of Wishing Well, a new 13-song album.
