Singing Voice 1 with John Bowen - Summer 2026 EOT Sharing

Join John Bowen’s Singing Voice 1 for an end-of-term sharing featuring students’ work in foundational singing technique, breath connection, listening, phrasing, vocal control, and song interpretation. Through individual presentations and group exercises, students explore how technique and musicianship support confident, expressive storytelling through song.

About John Bowen

John Bowen creates a supportive and active classroom in which each student can develop individually while contributing to the growth of the group. His teaching combines individual work with group exercises, helping students strengthen their vocal technique and artistry in an environment that encourages exploration without fear.

John is a musical director and keyboard player whose credits span Broadway, national tours, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, and the concert stage. His Broadway credits include In My Life, Fosse, and The Sound of Music, with additional productions at Paper Mill Playhouse, Westchester Broadway Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, Downtown Cabaret Theatre, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, and Opera America.
