Singles Same-Sex Wine Tasting with Unwritten X Wine Library

Hey, it's me, LJ! Welcome to Unwritten!

After hosting several of these events for the straight singles of Sydney, I've been asked many times if we can do a same-sex wine tasting event. And yes, of course we can and here we are!

The location is the Wine Library. Many of you may know it; it's one of Sydney's original wine bars firmly establishing itself as a Sydney institution. This intimate and cosy neighbourhood wine bar on Oxford Street in Woolahra/Paddington is the perfect setting for this Unwritten event, where the owner and sommelier Tim, will be hosting.

This event is open to our gay and lesbian friends (you'll be sitting on different tables for the experience of course).

HOW IT WORKS:

A week before the event, I'll send you an email with the Unwritten questionnaire. This will ask you what you're looking for in a partner, your values in life, your deal-breakers etc.

Thursday 5th December:

6.30pm: Arrive and enjoy welcome bubbles as you meet the other guests. Don't worry if you're coming solo, lots of others will and everyone is really friendly and welcoming.

7pm: The Wine Tasting experience begins. You'll sit on a table with up to 24 singles and throughout the evening Tim will take us through five of his chosen wines, whilst three sets of 'small plates' will be presented to compliment the wine.

After each wine tasting, I'll move the singles on one side of the table to different positions so that everyone would have spoken to everyone else by the end of the night.

9pm: Once the Wine Tasting is complete, I'll then reveal your official 'Unwritten Match.' This comes from your questionnaire that you previously completed, my match-making AI technology, a little magic and lots of intuition. You may have already guessed your match for the night or perhaps it's someone you never expected.

It'll going to be a lot of fun, full of interesting people, good conversation and incredible wine. And you never know, you might even feel some chemistry, something you definitely don't get through an app. I hope you do!
