Get your single and poly friends together and join us for a facilitated event designed to bring together like-minded people in a relaxed and supportive environment! 

Our skilled facilitators, Gretel Van Lane and Adara Enthaler, will guide the evening where you're invited to mingle and engage as much as you're comfortable. This event is an opportunity to connect with other single people, make new friends, and maybe even find a potential romantic connection. We'll be using conversation cards and games to help break the ice and make new connections. 

You'll enjoy the chance to share your interests and experiences while learning about others in a fun and low-pressure environment. Our goal is to create a space where single people can come together, build community, and form meaningful connections.

This event is better than speed dating, and is offered in the heart of Wollongong! Don't miss out on this chance to expand your social circle and maybe even find a special connection. 

Drink on Arrival

Your ticket includes a drink on arrival - beer, wine, or non alcoholic options. The bar will also be serving exceptional cocktails and snacky food to purchase. There is also the option to purchase a VIP Drinks Package and get two $15 cocktails for $20.

Age Group

This night is aimed at people aged 45 years old and above. We'll group people according to their dating preferences. If you're outside this range, but you like to date people within this range, you're welcome to attend.

1. The purpose of this event is to have fun. 
   
2. You're invited to step outside your comfort zone, but you will not be pressured to participate (see point above).
3. This is not speed dating – it's better than speed dating!
4. You may or may not meet someone who meets your dating criteria.
5. You can't pay extra to see who likes you.
6. Not everyone is going to be heterosexual and monogamous. 
7. We're welcoming of people who identify beyond the binary, people with diverse sexual orientations and relationship styles. If you're unsure what this means, just ask 😉
8. We encourage you to come with no expectations, except to have fun and meet new people.
   

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a speed dating event?

It’s better than speed dating! There will be 4-6 people at each table and you’ll have 15-20min to play a game, or answer a set of conversation cards. There will be 5-7 rounds over the 2 hours, so you’ll meet many people, but probably not everyone - unless you choose to sit at their table for the final round.

What should I expect at the event?

Expect a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and a series of facilitated activities designed to help you connect with others.

Is there a dress code?

No strict dress code – just come as you are and feel comfortable.

What if I'm shy or nervous?

Our hosts are experienced in creating a supportive environment, and our activities are designed to make everyone feel comfortable. You'll be in good hands!
