Your instructor: Paisley Ramstead is a longtime desert resident who combines a deep passion for creativity with a strong love for the unique wildlife of the region — particularly snakes. Fascinated by these often misunderstood creatures, she spends much of her time exploring the desert landscape, observing and learning about its diverse reptile population. When she’s not out in the field snake-spotting, Paisley channels her artistic energy into creating intricate collages inspired by the natural world around her. At home, Paisley enjoys the company of her dogs, finding comfort and companionship in their presence after a day of outdoor adventures. She is also an avid thrifter, frequently searching for vintage field guides and other treasures that reflect her love for both history and nature. Paisley’s blend of artistic creativity, wildlife enthusiasm, and desert living brings a distinct perspective to her work and life, making her a passionate advocate for the desert environment she calls home.
