    Event description

Embark on an exciting pottery adventure and unleash your creativity on the wheel! Join us for a delightful two-hour session with Jane, where you'll discover the joy of working with clay. This experience is perfect for beginners who are eager to learn or have limited experience with pottery wheels.

During the session, you'll enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere as you delve into the world of pottery. To add to the enjoyment, we'll provide you with a complimentary wine or hot beverage to heat up those cold hands. Sip on your drink of choice as you dive into the wonderful art of pottery.

Jane will guide you through the process, starting with an introduction to the pottery wheel itself. You'll gain insight into the clay process, including firing and glazing techniques. With Jane's expert instruction, you'll learn the skills needed to create your very own pottery masterpiece on the wheel. It's a hands-on experience that promises excitement and fulfilment.

To fully immerse yourself in the experience, we recommend wearing clothes that can get a little muddy. Don't forget to bring an apron and towel to keep yourself comfortable and prepared. Most importantly, come with a fun-loving attitude, ready to embrace the messiness and joy that pottery brings!

In this session, all materials will be provided, and the best part is that you get to keep your creations! We include bisque firing for the workshop, ensuring your pieces are preserved for you to cherish. If you wish to further explore your clay journey and add a touch of personalization, you can book a DIY glazing session for an additional fee. It's an opportunity to experiment with our specialized glazes and elevate your pottery to new artistic heights.

Our workshop is designed to be a delightful and leisurely experience, with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the process. We ask that you arrive at 6pm so that we can start at 6:30pm, allowing you to settle in and prepare for your pottery adventure.

Collection information that is important to note: Your finished pieces will be ready and awaiting collection after three weeks. Please remember to retrieve your creations (We don't remind you to come back), even if you plan to return for a specialized glazing session. We'll keep your items safely stored for up to two months from the creation date.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to explore the art of pottery and unlock your creative potential. Join us for session of joy, discovery, and clay-filled memories that will last a lifetime!

Please note: We are NOT a traditional venue with a quiet classroom. At our venue you may find other creatives  attending art classes, working on their own projects like painting, children playing,

Places are limited so please enrol via the ticket link on this event as soon as possible.
