You know those cocktails you see on Instagram and think - how do they even make that?

Well, this is the night we're going to learn exactly that!

We're heading back to one of our favourite spots - Chop 'n Chill at Raby Bay - for a gorgeous Saturday evening with our lovely SMC ladies, and this one is going to be a little bit special!

Our little cocktail class is all about showing you how to create your own beautiful, show-stopping cocktails at home - the kind that look like they came from a fancy bar but are made with affordable, everyday ingredients you can actually find at the shops. No exotic syrups or specialist equipment. Just clever, creative cocktails you'll genuinely be able to recreate for friends at home.

We'll be making three cocktails together:

The Pink Lady
Dragon fruit and vodka - floral, pretty and mild. Your new signature drink.

The Candy Cloud
Peach and cranberry with vanilla vodka - sweet, fun and dangerously easy to drink. Consider yourself warned

Passionista

Touch of homemade lavender syrup & watermelon liqueur, this cocktail is a favourite due to its simple & elegant taste

Then settle in for a stunning spread of canapes (not the usual Chop 'n Chill menu, something special just for us!):

Ham and cheese tomato tortilla rolls
Smoked brisket sanga with chipotle sauce
Smoked salmon tartine
Prawn and cucumber canapes with cocktail sauce
Scallops lettuce cups
Tofu bites with peanut sauce (V/VG)
Smashed avo with mushroom bruschetta (V/VG)
Cucumber, cherry tomato and olive canapes (GF)

Tickets: $45 per person (includes cocktail making class + 3 cocktails + canapes)

This is a night for you. A proper evening out with lovely local mums, beautiful food, a glass (or three) in your hand, and a skill you'll actually use again.

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…

- We try to keep a number of our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group

- We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group

- Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone

- You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.

- We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
