Summer Sip & Swap Social is a sustainably-minded community event bringing people together to swap, share, and connect. ♻️✨
Join us for an afternoon of clothing, books, and puzzles swapping, alongside vendors, music, food, and a mending corner—all hosted at Seek Beer and Barley & Sword.
This is more than a swap—it’s a social gathering centered on reuse, creativity, and community. Bring items you’re ready to pass along, discover new-to-you treasures, enjoy a drink, and spend time with like-minded folks who care about sustainability.

Whether you’re refreshing your wardrobe, finding your next great read, or just coming to hang out, Sip & Swap Social is the perfect way to spend your afternoon.
Tickets are limited—grab yours early!
How it works:
Register at the link in bio. Choose your timed ticket: 2PM, 3PM, or 4PM. New this season, you can also choose a 'Super Swapper' ticket which includes a drink of your choice, a goody bag, and you can arrive at any time.
Bring up to 10 gently used clothing items per person. No limit for books or puzzles! Any leftovers will be donated to various organizations in San Diego.
Check in at the front table upon arrival and drop your items off. We'll hang them up for you so you can be free to shop!

- How do the ticket tiers work?
We recommend getting your ticket early! Once each ticket tier sells out, the next tier opens up.
🌿 First Dibs - $5 This limited early-release ticket gets you access at the best price and guarantees your spot at Sip & Swap Social. Perfect for early planners and avid swappers ready to snag the best finds. Limited quantity available, once these tickets run out, the next tier will open up.
♻️ Swapper - $7 The heart of the event. Join us for an afternoon of swapping clothing, books, and puzzles, browsing eco-vendors, enjoying music and food, and connecting with fellow sustainability-minded community members.
✨ Final Finds - $15 Last chance to join the swap! For the spontaneous or last-minute crowd, this ticket secures your entry to Sip & Swap Social once earlier tiers have sold out. Availability is limited—grab it before it’s gone.
🌟Super Swapper - $25 includes a drink of your choice from Seek Beer, Barley & Sword, or Modern Times Coffee. You can also arrive at any time during the event, and you get a goody bag!
- Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
The event will take place on the patio of Seek Beer/Barley and Sword Patio.
- What is your refund policy?
You can cancel your ticket for a full refund up to 7 days before the event. After that point, you can either transfer your ticket to someone else or use it towards a future Gather or Commonplace event.
- Is there parking?
Free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
