    Sir Lennon

Jazz/Indie/Soul straight out of the brown snake. Sir Lennon have a unique approach to groove, melody and harmony and will be performing a raft of new material

    Bottlerockets

Bottlerockets are a 5-piece alt-rock group based in Meanjin. Led by frontman Tom Fitzgerald’s distinct approach to songwriting, Bottlerockets are dedicated to keeping audiences on their toes. Genres shift and influences change, from artsy post-punk à la Talking Heads, the alt-country of Wilco, and the rambling poetics of Nick Cave and Courtney Barnett. Lock it all down with a solid sense of groove and a healthy dose of overdrive, and you’ve got something not worth missing.

    Transmission From The Water Tower

Conceived in 2023 as an anonymous way to write about personal experiences, transmissions from the water-tower is a new Australian indie-folk/lo-fi band that uses traditional folk instrumentation to tell deeply personal stories. transmissions from the water-tower has released two EPs tackling the subjects of childhood trauma, neurodivergent struggles in personal relationships, and the lifelong process of coming to terms with life as a human being.

Performing in full costume and dressed as astronauts, rocket technicians, and surgeons, transmissions from the water tower presents a dynamic and surprisingly humorous live show, offering an alternative perspective on often-discussed social issues carried by considerable musicianship from within their opaque outfits.

transmissions from the water-tower is Fin Nicol-Taylor, Jim Hinchey, Minnie Rumble and Joe Teague.
