SIR is an unapologetically inclusive techno party and safe haven for the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and friends. 

On Friday, 1 May 2026, we return to Double Whammy! with something a little different…

This time, we’re not just getting DJs to play sets. We’re running a Relay.

RELAY means each DJ overlaps with the one before and after them, passing the music along in sequence and keeping the night in constant motion. No hard resets. No flat spots. Just a seamless flow of energy, genres, and BPM from start to finish.

This is going to be a wild ride. Strap in, you don’t want to miss it!

• Pre-sale: Thursday 26 March 2026, 12pm midday (mailing list only)

• General sale: Friday 27 March 2026, 12pm midday

• The venue capacity is strictly limited and SIR is known to sell out. There will be NO DOOR SALES on the night. Get your ticket early to avoid heartbreak!

For RELAY, we’re summoning chrome angels, metallic demons, and high-gloss android dolls fresh off the production line. Think liquid latex, mirrored skin, sculpted silhouettes, and nails sharp enough to cut through solar winds. This is techno futurism at its sexiest… engineered to serve.

Serve us steel, silver, and holographic fantasy. Whether you’re a cold-blooded cyborg, a space siren, or a fully upgraded glitch bitch ready to crash the cis-tem, we want you gleaming, glowing, and ready to transmit. Dress up, dress down, or strip it back to raw circuitry… just make it sleek, make it filthy, and make it interstellar. 💋

• We strongly encourage you to participate in the fun and come dressed in theme, but if you don’t have anything to wear in theme, please wear pink or black!

• Coat check will be available at the venue: 1 item per person (provided bag or to hang on coat rack). All proceeds going to charity: NZ Falcons!

• You can prepay at the price of $2 when buying your ticket by selecting add-on or pay $5 at the venue

Conduct and Expectations

SIR is built on respect, consent, and community.

• We strive to create a safe space for everyone to express their authentic selves.

• All genders, sexual orientations, body types and subcultures are welcome and celebrated at our events.

• We don’t accept any discrimination or harassment in any form. Homophobia, transphobia, heterophobia, racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination are not tolerated at our events.

• Consent is mandatory. People passed out or too affected by alcohol or other substances can’t give consent.

• This is not a sexual event.

• Watch out for one another and be kind. Treat others with respect and be respected.

• Condition for entry: please read and agree to follow our Code of Conduct before joining us.

T&C

• The resale of your ticket at a price higher than the official purchase price from the authorised ticket agent Humanitix, or other SIR-authorised sale channels, is grounds for cancellation of your ticket without compensation.

• The only valid tickets are those purchased or redeemed/transferred through Humanitix or other SIR-authorised sale channels.

• Your photo may be taken by our official photographers and used in future promotional material unless you request otherwise.

• Your email address may be collected so that we can contact you directly regarding SIR events. We will not pass your details on to third parties or send you emails not relating to SIR events.

• SIR is an 18+ event. Your ID will be checked before entry.

• We reserve the right to refuse entry.
