SIR is an unapologetically inclusive techno party and safe haven for the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, and friends. Come dance, get sweaty, and unleash your truest self on Friday, 30 May 2025, at the Double Whammy!

Tickets will go on pre-sale on Tuesday, 8th Apr 2025 @ 9am exclusively for people who are signed up to our mailing list. General sale starts the day later at 9am on Wednesday the 9th.

The venue capacity is strictly limited and SIR is known to sell out. There will be NO DOOR SALES on the night. Make sure you grab your ticket online early while they last to avoid disappointment.

Lace up, strap in, and gear up, because we’re turning the locker room into a steamy, sweaty playground of techno and temptation. It’s winter outside, but in here, the temperature is rising, and so should your hemlines!

Category is: SPORTS DRAG EXTRAVAGANZA! Whether you’re serving varsity vixen, slutty soccer star, or the most unhinged interpretation of a wrestling singlet imaginable, we wanna see you make it sexy, make it kinky, but most of all… make it GAYYYY. Bonus points if your outfit makes a coach clutch his pearls.

We live for the moment, but we also wanna see your lewks on the ‘gram! Tag SIR in your fit pics because this time, we’ve got two prizes:

We strongly encourage you to participate in the fun and come dressed in theme, but if you don’t have anything to wear in theme, please wear pink or black!
Coat check will be available at the venue: 1 item per person (bag or to hang on coat rack). All proceeds going to charity: NZ Falcons!
You can prepay at the price of $2 when buying your ticket by selecting add-on or pay $5 in cash at the venue

Consent is mandatory. People passed out or too affected by alcohol or other substances can’t give consent.
This is not a sexual event.

T&C

The resale of your ticket at a price higher than the official purchase price from the authorised ticket agent Humanitix, or other SIR-authorised sale channels, is grounds for cancellation of your ticket without compensation.
The only valid tickets are those purchased or redeemed/transferred through Humanitix or other SIR-authorised sale channels.
Your photo may be taken by our official photographers and used in future promotional material unless you request otherwise.
Your email address may be collected so that we can contact you directly regarding SIR events. We will not pass your details on to third parties or send you emails not relating to SIR events.
SIR is an 18+ event. Your ID will be checked before entry.
We reserve the right to refuse entry.
