Immersive Art Show + Film Premiere
SIREN is a one-night immersive art experience that brings together film, installation, performance, music, and visual art at NOWE Studios, Bangalow.
Born from the creation of the short art film SIREN 🧜♀️, the night expands the film beyond the screen and into a physical world, inviting a collection of local artists and performers to respond through their own mediums and expressions.
At the centre of SIREN is an exploration of embodiment, intimacy, transformation, voice and power. The ancient mythology of the siren is reimagined not as something to fear, but as a symbol of expression, magnetism and the courage to inhabit yourself fully.
Move through installations and artworks, encounter roaming performance, gather for live music, poetry and movement, and experience the premiere screening of SIREN before the space transforms into a dance floor for the final part of the night.
Some works will invite interaction. Some will be available to purchase. Some will exist only for the evening.
Come curious. Take your time. Touch what asks to be touched. Let yourself be drawn in.

FAQs
- Can I bring my children?
SIREN is an 18+ event. While we love little ones, this evening has been created as a space for adults to fully arrive, let go and immerse themselves in the experience. We want everyone entering the world of SIREN to feel free to be present, explore, connect and soak it all in without distraction.
- What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable baby ;)
- What can I expect on the night?
SIREN is somewhere between an exhibition, performance night, film premiere and party. You’ll move through art and installations before the evening unfolds into live performance, music, poetry, the SIREN film premiere and, finally, dancing.
- Do I need to arrive at 6pm?
Doors open at 6 PM, with time at the beginning of the night to wander, have a drink and explore the exhibition. We recommend arriving on time, and no later than 6:30 so you can experience SIREN from beginning to end.
- Will there be food and drinks?
There will be limited complimentary drinks available, until they run out.

- Is the artwork for sale?
Yes. Selected works from participating artists will be available to purchase on the night.
- Can I take photos and videos?
Yes, but we encourage you to spend more time inside the experience than behind your phone. Please be mindful of performers, artworks and other guests.
