This tour is of Bosch’s excellent newly opened Manufacturing and Automation Centre and the Bosch Diode production facility in Clayton. The Bosch team will also present on successful case studies in their successful application of Automation in  manufacturing. 

Due to COVID , this tour has VERY limited space. 

Maximum 2 people per organisation.

We will spend some time touring the Bosch Manufacturing Automation Centre Building facility, and as well will tour the Bosch diode manufacturing. 

Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions is a division of Bosch Australia, globally recognised for their innovative work in engineering services providing solutions for a wide range of manufacturing industries. Bosch Manufacturing Solutions group offers its capability to design, build, test and commission complex factory automation solutions to external customers in various industry sectors, most notably Medical, Agriculture, and Heavy Transport.

Bosch Diode facility has a robust and mature Continuous Improvement program with the Bosch Production System, with great examples of Kanban, 5-S, Standard Work , TPM ,  Andon systems, Daily and Hourly Management,  Team problem solving – the whole “lean thinking” package. The Bosch diode production also showcases the excellent use of Automation to assist Quality, Efficiency and manufacturing Safety. This represents a great opportunity to network, observe a world-class manufacturing plant as well as their excellent Manufacturing and Automation Centre, and learn from a global icon.

COVID and PPE

Attendees on the day will be required  to check in via QR code and show vaccination certificate. 

Attendees will be required to use Bosch provided masks. 

Bosch has a JSA in place so no additional PPE is required. However, if you have safety shoes, you are encouraged to wear them.
