The passion enthusiasm for change at Ductmakers, lead by their GM Daryl Davis is infectious. Come to this SIRF site visit to catch some of Ductmakers’ energy. While Ductmakers have only been on the CI journey for a relatively short time, the continuous change in the workforce and workplace under Daryl's leadership is truly incredible. This is a real opportunity to see what can be done and also how to do it.

As with most sustained changes , it starts with passionate Leadership and a committed Lead team engaging all of the workforce to the challenges ahead. All personnel have been trained, coached and mentored with personal training in LEAN delivered by the Ductmakers leadership. People engagement is key to this success.  

In this SIRF workshop Daryl will present an overview of the  DPW (Ductmakers Production Way) which explains why and how they go about their business and the clear links this has to all things that matter for establishing a continuous improvement culture and a customer focused successful business.

After the presentation from Daryl, we will have the opportunity to do a site tour to see firsthand the impact of DPW on plant operations and its people.
