SIRF Site Tour| MtM Auto Oakleigh Site tour and Operational Excellence Highlights inluding 'lights out' automation
MTM have operated since 1965 and are currently a global supplier of automatic gear shifts and door checks, exporting products to Mexico, USA, Argentina, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, China, South Africa, Russia, Canada and Japan.
MTM further diversified into non-automotive markets such as lighting, waste purification, safety, caravans and transport allowing them to continue to operate successfully beyond the closure of the Australian car industry.
Part of their success as world class exporters relies on genuine excellence in Quality and Service. MtM have a clear focus on designing in quality into their systems and products. They have recently, with the help of Australian engineering, installed 'lights out' automation to improve manufacturing reliability, quality and efficiency.
In this SIRF site tour we will have the chance to hear some of the Operational Excellence highlights of the MtM operations at their Oakleigh manufacturing facility as well as an excellent opportunity to see these firsthand and learn how the MtM approach could also help your own business
