Travel instructions

Bus: The closest major bus stops are on Grenfell Street and Pirie Street. The Free City Connector Bus (98A, 98C, 99A, 99C) runs close to Pirie Street. Train: The nearest train stations are Adelaide Railway Station (approx. 15-20 min walk) or the Adelaide Tram Stop on King William Street (walk east onto Pirie Street). Car / Drop-off: The venue is located at 1/131 Pirie Street, near the corner of Pirie and Hyde Street. Please drop off guests on Pirie Street near the Wilson Parking entrance (131 Pirie Street) for the shortest walk to the main entry.

Entry instructions

The entrance to the venue is shared with Rhino Room. Enter via the door marked Rhino Room on Pirie Street. Once inside the lobby, the Lowlife Basement Bar is located directly down to the right.

After entry instructions

You must proceed immediately down the stairs. After entering the Pirie Street door, the entrance to the Lowlife Basement Bar is via a single, long flight of stairs leading to the basement level.

Hazards

The most significant barrier is the long flight of stairs leading to the basement (Lowlife Bar), which is the only access route. Other hazards include low lighting typical of a basement bar, crowds, and potential trip hazards from scattered seating/cables common in music venues.

Toilet location

Due to the venue's access limitations (stairs to the basement), accessible toilets are not available in the Lowlife Basement Bar. We recommend contacting the venue management prior to booking to confirm the nearest accessible facilities located nearby on the ground floor of the larger building complex.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking for Disability Parking Permit Holders is available in the UPark Pirie Flinders car park (191-207 Pirie Street) and Hindmarsh Square (on-street metered parking). The Wilson Parking facility at 131 Pirie Street (next to the venue) also offers convenient parking. Check the City of Adelaide's interactive map for specific on-street bays.
