Welcome to Sister Sessions, a transformative professional networking event for women.
Sister Sessions are a space where women can show up as their authentic selves and build meaningful connections. Speakers will share their stories of triumph and challenge. They'll provide valuable tips and strategies for success in your professional and personal life. We'll have good conversations and learn from the wisdom and insights of others.
Sister Sessions are more than networking. They are a part of the community that we are building in Promote Her. These quarterly events will leave you feeling inspired, motivated, and connected to a sisterhood of strong, supportive women.
Our first session will be held on Sunday 19, February. I am very excited that our first guest storyteller is the amazing Sharon Orapeleng.
Born in Botswana, Sharon is now Australia based. She is the founder and director at Psyched Solutions. She's a speaker, strategic advisor, writer, trainer, and facilitator with academic degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience, as well as Master’s degree in Behaviour Management. Sharon has over 15 years of experience working with corporates and community organisations facilitating conversations on mental health and well-being. She is passionate about co-creating psychologically safe spaces and building connected and thriving communities. Her work is underpinned by the African philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’’ or "Botho". 'I am Because We Are.’
