    Event description

The Sisterhood Series is exclusively for students in Years 10 - 12 and offers the chance to hear from inspirational alumni guest speakers.

The series will run over recess every Wednesday during Terms 2 and 3 in the Santa Maria College Boardroom in the McAuley Building, with the exception of the first and last week of the term.

We welcome Jessica Tropiano as our guest speaker for the first session of the Term 2 series. After graduating from Santa Maria High School, Jess pursued a double degree in psychology and criminology from Murdoch University. During her time at Murdoch, she was privileged to be accepted into Murdoch’s Cold Case Review group, where she collaborated with fellow students and academics on an American Cold Case. This experience led to her selection as one of six Australian students to participate in the 2023 International Cold Case Analysis Project.

Jess currently serves as a Disclosure Officer at the WA Police Force and is pursuing a master's degree in criminology, specialising in geographical profiling and forensic linguistics. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the fields of psychology, criminology, and law enforcement, as well as to connect with a distinguished member of our alumni community.

Spaces are limited to 15 students per session, and registrations are essential - don't miss out on this valuable experience!

    Morning tea will be provided.
