Sisterhood Series 2024 - Alexa Teixeira
Event description
The Sisterhood Series is exclusively for students in Years 10 - 12 and offers the chance to hear from inspirational alumni guest speakers.Â
The series runs over recess every Wednesday during Terms 2 and 3 in the Santa Maria College Boardroom in the McAuley Building.Â
We are excited to welcome Alexa Teixeira as our guest speaker for the fifth session of the Sisterhood Series in Term 4.Â
After graduating from Santa Maria College in 2015, a spontaneous decision to defer her sports science degree led Alexa to discover a deep passion for filmmaking. This newfound love for the arts, ignited by a visit to Warner Brothers Studio, steered her from sports science to completing a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Arts at Curtin University. Since then, Alexa has been fortunate to contribute to a variety of exciting film and television projects, forging unforgettable experiences and lifelong friendships along the way.
Don't miss this chance to learn from Alexa's experiences and gain valuable insights into the film industry. Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker or simply curious about the creative process, this session promises to be both informative and inspiring.
Spaces are limited to 15 students per session, and registrations are essential - don't miss out on this valuable experience!
Morning tea will be provided.
