Sisterhood Series 2024 - Natasha Ting
Event description
The Sisterhood Series is exclusively for students in Years 10 - 12 and offers the chance to hear from inspirational alumni guest speakers.Â
The series runs over recess every Wednesday during Terms 2 and 3 in the Santa Maria College Boardroom in the McAuley Building.Â
We are thrilled to announce that Natasha Ting will be our guest speaker for the fourth session of the Sisterhood Series in Term 3.Â
Natasha is a graduate lawyer at Gilbert + Tobin, a top-tier commercial and corporate law firm. After graduating SMC, she completed her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees at the University of Western Australia. Being inspired by her Literature studies and teacher in high school, she initially pursued a Bachelor of Science to become a psychologist. This passion evolved after completing some law electives where she fell in love with law. Natasha was involved in public speaking in SMC and continued that passion after graduating, eventually winning a Toastmasters International competition in Malaysia in 2019. Natasha is very passionate about mental health, collaborating with a keyboard company based in Sydney to make a keyboard and raise funds for Headspace Australia. She has worked on a variety of matters including pro bono matters. Natasha is grateful for having had a diverse work history in community legal centres, luxury retail, optical retail, the education sector, and private equity.
Spaces are limited to 15 students per session, and registrations are essential - don't miss out on this valuable experience!
Morning tea will be provided.
