Sisterhood Series 2024 - Sophie Kerrigan
Event description
The Sisterhood Series is exclusively for students in Years 10 - 12 and offers the chance to hear from inspirational alumni guest speakers.Â
The series typically runs over recess every Wednesday during Terms 2 and 3 in the Santa Maria College Boardroom in the McAuley Building. However, please note this session will be held on a Monday.Â
We are honoured to welcome Sophie Kerrigan as our guest speaker for the second last session of the Term 2 series.Â
After graduating from Santa Maria College, Sophie pursued a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement and Exercise Science at the University of Western Australia. She furthered her academic journey with Honours in neuroimaging and paediatric movement disorders research.
Sophie then pursued Medicine at the University of Notre Dame, marking the beginning of her impactful career in healthcare. Since graduating, she has gained valuable experience in various hospital settings, including Fiona Stanley, Fremantle, and Rockingham Hospital, where she worked across disciplines such as general medicine, neonatology, psychiatry, surgery, emergency medicine, and obstetrics/gynaecology.
Her journey exemplifies dedication and expertise in the medical field, and we eagerly anticipate her insights during our session.
Spaces are limited to 15 students per session, and registrations are essential - don't miss out on this valuable experience!
Morning tea will be provided.
