- Gain hands-on experience with emerging AI applications
- Develop practical business skills to navigate the future of work
- Collaborate with AI agents and fellow participants, including migrant women from Sisterworks, to solve real-world problems
By participating, you'll:
- Sharpen your business skills and master the use of AI
- Support Sisterworks' mission to empower migrant women through economic empowerment and digital inclusion
💻 Tech Requirements
No tech expertise required! As long as you're comfortable using a phone, you're all set to participate and learn with Tech Tempest. However, to ensure everyone can participate in the Tech Tempest experience, we kindly ask Her Tech Circle members to bring their laptops to share with Sisterworks participants. This collaboration will enable us to work together on the "AI Agents in the Field" module.
🤔 What is Tech Tempest?
Meet Dr. John Burgin, the visionary behind Tech Tempest, a cutting-edge learning experience designed to equip students and professionals with essential digital age business skills. As a tech industry veteran and founder of SHIFT127 Pty Ltd, Dr. Burgin created Tech Tempest to help individuals thrive in a rapidly changing global tech ecosystem.
❤️ Supporting a Greater Cause
To ensure a successful and engaging experience for all, we're asking for a small registration fee of $20.
This fee serves as a commitment to attend and helps us plan for the right number of participants, as we'll be forming diverse teams with women from both Her Tech Circle and Sisterworks. 100% of proceeds from the registration fee will go directly towards supporting Sisterworks, a wonderful organisation empowering migrant women through economic empowerment and digital inclusion. Your participation will not only enhance your AI skills but also contribute to a worthy cause!
🍛 Share the Flavor, Share the Culture
In the spirit of connection and community, we're embracing Sisterworks' tradition of sharing food from diverse cultures. We invite you to bring a share plate to enjoy with your fellow participants! Consider sharing a traditional dish from your heritage or a favorite snack. Some ideas might include:
- Homemade baked goods (e.g., cookies, scones)
- Fresh fruit or vegetable platter
- International street food (e.g., samosas, spring rolls)
- Traditional desserts (e.g., baklava, tiramisu)
This sharing tradition will not only delight your taste buds but also foster meaningful connections among participants.
Don't miss this opportunity to level up your tech skills, network with women in tech, and make a positive impact.
Huge thank you to our wonderful friends at DiUS for opening up their office for us on a Sunday and providing us with a wonderful environment to play!
