SISTER WOUND TO SISTERHOOD (WOMEN'S WISDOM CIRCLE) ~ hosted by Jeanie of Anak & Ancestress, in collaboration with From Dusk Till Dawn!

Picture this... A circle of women, gathered outdoors, in a gorgeous, cosy bell tent by the sea.
Storytelling, witnessing, feeling beautifully held - transmuting the energy of sister wounds that live in our hearts and bodies, into embodied, genuine and divine sisterhood. Women & femmes of all cultures, expressions, and experiences, welcomed.

Join us for an intuitive culmination of poetry reading, theme teachings, meditation, journalling, connection practices, sharing circle & light refreshments.

CIRCLE THEME:
The Sister Wound - a deep seated distrust and insecurity of other females and their intentions, stemming from complex/abusive relationships with female family members, or harmful & toxic experiences with female friendships from childhood and teen years. Societally, this conditioning plays out in media through cattiness, judgement, jealousy, manipulation and competition. The age old narrative of women made enemies for partners, jobs, status. A narrative the patriarchy amplifies, to keep women disempowered and small. But...

When women gather in circle, something magical happens - sister wounds and shame organically dissolve. When we are safe to express true vulnerability and authenticity, without the fear of our flaws being used against us as ammunition, or for gain, we begin to heal our relationship with our sisters. We lay down our weapons and armour, and meet eachother with love and understanding.

PLEASE BRING:
- a cushion
- a cup or mug for tea
- journal & pen
- water bottle

INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In rain and strong winds, our partner From Dusk Till Dawn will be unable to erect the bell tent due to safety reasons - but the circle will still go ahead indoors, rather than be cancelled altogether.
In the case of inclement weather, our backup indoor location on the day will be Emergence Yoga, Kiama.
Jeanie will text all attendees on the day with address if location is needing to change.
If going ahead, Jeanie will text all attendees shortly before the event with the exact location the tent will be within Killalea State Park.
