Site Tour | Visy Glass

Site tours are an excellent forum for networking and engaging in 'peer to peer' learning with other members while getting a first hand look at some of Australia's leading industrial and manufacturing factories and warehouses.

In July 2020 Visy acquired the Australian and New Zealand operations of the world’s largest bottle manufacturer Owens Illinois, creating Visy Glass.

Visy aims to bring their sustainability culture to the business increasing recycled content of glass bottles from 1/3 to 2/3.

Since the acquisition the site has undergone a transformation with a focus on safety and improved systems.

On this site tour you will have the opportunity to see their manufacturing process and see examples of their reinvigorated safety culture.

Visitors to site must comply with NSW COVID health orders.

Visitors must bring and wear safety footwear, hi-vis vests, and safety glasses.

HSE professionals with a passion for manufacturing.

As a member of IPA you can register up to 2 people, subject to availability, to attend this event. This event is for IPA members only, there will be no public access to this event. 

When do I need to register by?
Registrations close 7 days prior to event date. 
Registrations are based on a "first-come, first-served" basis. 
There are no allocated seats with membership.
